French Kissing the Unconscious

French Kissing the Unconscious

Darin wrote this article for a Christian online magazine. If he gets the most comments he can win an Apple TV. I would love this. So even though I hate this kind of promotion, I do love TV. Please go read the article and comment about whether you liked it or not. Thanks. You can come over and watch my Apple TV if he wins :)

Barbie House!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Braithwaite, Grandma McWatters and Mimi! I LOVE it!

Will's First Day of Preschool

The preschool boy! Today was his very first day. Mom went with him and it was just a short day. We had a fun time meeting his teacher, checking out his classroom and meeting some of the friends that will be in his class!

Happy Birthday Tea!

The decorated table waiting for the guests to arrive. They got to decorate their own goodie bags with sparkly stickers.
The living room is all set up.
Coffee for the moms who stayed.
The treat table!
Butter and jam heart sandwiches. My sister in law threw a tea party for my niece Ava not to long ago. Some of this came from her great ideas!
Chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered Nilla wafers
Fruit kabobs on craft sticks
Cheese and crackers
Decorating their gift bags
Eating yummy treats!
The girls really enjoyed their treats. I served pink lemonade in their tea cups.
We had lots of treats, but no cupcakes. I was glad I made that decision. No baking and we still had plenty to eat.
We also made beaded bracelets with our names on them and played a game. Once the guests left and the boys returned from their movie, Lily opened all her presents! She loves everything she got. Barbies everywhere!

Cute little tables from the wonderful, generous Miss Lori!
Pretty flowers picked out by Lily and myself

Party all the time!

Lily and her friend Michael have the same birthday. He had a party at Pump it Up today. So cute.
Lily's friend Alina rode with us to the party. I think she and Will bonded. This is the cutest picture of him!
The slide was super fast today!
Here comes Will on his tummy!

and the celebration continues....

We left at 6 am today to go to the flower district to pick up flowers for Lily's tea party tomorrow!  She picked lilies of course :)
Miss Lori took us to get the flowers and then to a really wonderful place called The Nickel Diner.
Lily got a homemade ding-dong for her birthday treat!
It was delicious!

First Day of School!

It was a gloomy day out for our first day and my camera is not taking good pictures anymore....so these are what they are. The kids were excited to start school. Jack is in 5th grade, Hank is in 3rd and Lily started Kindergarten. Will will be in preschool, but he doesn't start until Monday.

Lily at her seat. Yes, she was a bit nervous I think.
Sitting for a story
With Mrs. Yeaton, her teacher. I think Lily is going to love Kindergarten. She went only for a couple hours today and will be going for the full day tomorrow. I think she will have a better idea of how it is going to be after that.
