Sophisticated

Will feels like a moustache makes him appear more sophisticated.

Dad Day at Preschool and Basketball

Mickey and Minnie Pants and haircuts

d

Last night Darin and I celebrated his birthday a few days early and went to Disneyland on a date. It was soooo much fun. We brought home my favorite Disneyland snack to share with the kids. I love the caramel apples covered in chocolate that look like Mickey and Minnie pants. We shared them this afternoon after all the kids got haircuts!

Scooby doo and Wii fit

This photo is not cooperating with me...but it was cute, so I put it in anyway.
Watching Will's new favorite show, Scooby Doo together this morning.
Playing Wii Fit after rest time today.
Yay!
Will's turn.

Surprise!

I never know what surprises I will find on my camera when I go to download the pictures. Tonight I see that Will and Lily had my camera and the duplo blocks and they were "making magic." Grandmas don't worry...it has breathing holes in the bag. :)

Rainy days and make up work!

Will snapped his own raincoat. He worked hard at it!

Jack stayed home again today. He was mostly better, but had a slight fever yesterday afternoon and we are trying to stick to the 24 hour rule for returning to school. Jack played video games for most of the morning, but then spent a huge chunk of the rest of the day doing school work to make up for the days that he missed.

Sick day!

Jack's turn to get the sore throat virus. He missed church on Sunday and Monday from school. He somehow convinced Will that it would be a fun morning to play Little Big Planet on the PS3. Will was willing to do anything that involved playing with big brother "Jackie."

Saturday game.

Hank had a basketball game on Saturday morning. His team won. It has been a very rainy week and a half, but it was nice and sunny on Saturday.

Playdoh!

So I have been trying to post more often, but as you can see I am not doing very well. I did take pictures though, I just didn't post them. So here are some pictures from late last week of Lily and Will playing playdoh.

Rainbow!

Rain coats

e

t

It has been really rainy here in Long Beach this past week. Today we had showers on and off all day. I ordered Lily and Will much needed rain gear earlier this week and it came today. There was a big thunderstorm just as we were opening the box so Will and Lily went out back to try them out!

First thing.

Will woke up this morning, laid with me in our bed for about 15 minutes and then ran into the living room. Immediately, before I even made it into the living room I hear CRASH! BANG! BONK! BONK! I still don't know how he made so much noise, but near as I can tell, he climbed on the rocking chair to turn on the lights and fell off. He has a major fat lip on his right upper lip. It is raw on the inside. He also split that little membrane that holds the lip to the gum. Ew. It was not nice. He had a popsicle and felt much better. These pictures really don't do it justice. My camera is out of batteries, so I used Darin's phone. Sorry about his really dirty Cheetos face.

Candlelit Dinner

Back before Christmas, Jack's class went on a field trip. I can't remember exactly what the place was called but it was when they were studying Ranchos, so it was some kind of museum. While there were there, they each made a candle. Last night we finally lit his candle at dinner. He was super proud! It went well with our traditional Wednesday Taco night. :)

Gumballs

Darin got the kids a gumball machine for a prize when he came back from the last weekend he was away. We needed more gumballs, so Will and I ventured to Walmart and bought the hugest bucket of gumballs ever (guaranteed to give all involved cavities). I let Will scoop them into the machine.
