Christmas

We are in Nevada celebrating Christmas with my family. We will soon be headed to Arizona to celebrate with Darin's family too. I had wanted to post pictures before I left, but I just didn't get to it. I will do my best to get all caught up once we return home. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Ballerina girl

Lily's dog painting

Lily LOVES to paint. She has personally gone through 3 of the crayola watercolor paints on her own. She has never actually painted any thing in specific...until two days ago. I walked by and she says, "Look Mom it's my dog!" I was so excited I swiped it up from her before she could paint over it. So cute!

Christmas Pillows

I decided I wanted to start a new tradition in my house... In October I bought the boys some glow in the dark Halloween pillowcases. They loved them and it gave me an idea. I wanted to do festive bedding throughout the year, but as I researched it, I realized that it would get expensive fast. So I decided to just do pillowcases. I started looking to purchase them online and found a pattern to make them myself. So I set out to make Christmas pillowcases for each of the kids. I think they turned out pretty cute. I want to make more for other holidays throughout the year and maybe a birthday one too. I am feeling so crafty lately :)
Oh yeah, all thie kids really loved the pillowcases, but Will refuses to have it in his bed with him. He gets really frantic trying to throw the huge pillow out of the bed. So for now, it is in Hank's bed. Someday, I am sure he will enjoy having the Christmas pillow.

Reedley Tractor Parade

One of our favorite Christmas traditions. We go to Sal's in Selma and then to the parade. So much fun!

Thanksgiving....finally

Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Debbie came up for Thanksgiving this year. We had a wonderful time. The time went by so fast though. Luckily we will be visiting them in 3 short weeks! Yay!

So far behind....

On blogging and everything else. Feels like I am barely keeping my head above water around here. Today was supposed to be a catch up day, but Will woke up with a fever and the throw ups. Not much got done today. Here are some pictures of a crafty thing I did a few weeks back. I got the idea from another, much craftier Mom than I. I think they turned out fine. They are on the wall now, but at the time I took these pictures I destroyed my calendar in the process of trying to put these up (very typical of how I do things). Anyway...with the help of my dad I was able to fix the calendar and get the clipboards up. They are for school work and other handouts that the kids get during the month. I like how they turned out.

Sand Castle

This is the sand castle fortress that Jack made when we were at the playground on Saturday. It turned out awesome.

Pretty girl.

Lily is all dressed up for the Family Thanksgiving dinner here at the camp. It was a nice time. This dress is actually a 18 month size. She wore it the week Will was born for an Easter photo. It still fits, its just a lot shorter. She looked beautiful in it. I am glad we got more use out of it. It's such a pretty dress.

Gamer

Lego Maniac

Will LOVES his big brothers' Legos. In fact that is all he wants to play with right now...that and the gameboys. He especially enjoys the Lego men and loves to take their hats on and off and put them in any car in which they will fit. Its what I am helping him do most of my day. He is so cute. I love watching his little personality come out and seeing him do more "big boy" things. So fun!

Little Napolean

On Wednesday mornings a bunch of moms and kids go to the playground to play while the weather is still nice. It's a good time to pry my children from the tv and make them get some fresh air. In these pictures Will is the oldest of all the little ones, but he is by far the shortest. This makes him feel a little uneasy so he feels the need to boss and push them all around. It is pretty funny to watch. Not nice, but funny.

Jack's Welsh Pilgrim

Before nap

Lily and Will played out on the deck before nap. Lily told me she was fixing her vegetables in her garden. Will was messing in the water and "helping" Lily.

This is the naughty little boy whose teeth bit Lily. I wasn't there but my guess is she wouldn't get her face out of his...it's a common occurence around here!

This is the bite on her cheek next to her eye.

fun at a friend's house

These are pictures Keri took of Will and Chloe having fun together. She said that they thought hiding behind her hat and mitten holder was hilarious.
