Two for one!

Jack lost his upper left tooth today while he was at school. Tonight after basketball practice, Hank pulled the same tooth! Too funny!

Here are two short videos from the Christmas concert last Tuesday.

Jack's first band concert

Will in a hand me down tux from Hank. Hank wore this in Uncle Jason's wedding!
Lily in another new party dress I found on sale at Target. She had a choice of a new DVD or this dress...she is truly a girl!
Look who's so handsome and grown up!
What a good looking bunch!
Hi, I'm cute and CRAZY!

Jack has been learning to play the clarinet this year in band. He is doing a really great job and his teacher says he is a natural. He doesn't get this from me. I am not musical in any way, but he really seems to enjoy band and his lessons. He even practices without complaining. Last night the beginning band performed "A Winter's Sleigh Ride" at the school's winter concert. It was so fun to see Jack all dressed up. He did a wonderful job and we couldn't be more proud!

Garden revisited!

So back in September I tore out all the green bean, pea, squash, corn and sunflower bushes. I left a few spindly carrots and random sprouts out there...mostly out of laziness. I haven't really done anything since. I had noticed we were getting a few tomatoes, but no one in our family eats them, so I haven't really been out there to see what was happening. Today I noticed we had a few peppers. So I told Jack and Hank to go out and look and then told them they could pull up the carrots. Man, I had no idea there were so many! It was fun to eat them at dinner. They were very good. I guess the tomatoes, carrots and peppers just needed some room. :)

Lakewood Christian Schools Christmas Concert

They are getting big. They also clean up pretty good :)
William, 2 1/2 and mostly a troll ( a cute one though)
Hank, 7 1/2 and full of life and excitement!
Jack, 9 smart, caring, and definitely a 4th grader.
Lily, 4 full of smiles and compassion with a healthy dose of mischief.
Mr. Major, the principal, introducing the program
Hank is on the left front row behind the package table.
Jack is just right of center 3 rows back (behind the redhead)
Lily really loved the singing!

Last night was the Christmas Concert at the boy's school. Miss McCann and Mr. Kell did an amazing job getting the kids ready for this adorable production. Miss McCann's friend wrote the play Mr. Kell wrote all original songs to go in the production for the kids to sing. It was truly amazing and both Jack and Hank had a wonderful time singing in the concert! :)

We decorated a little later than normal this year. Because Darin's back was hurting when we got back from Thanksgiving we waited until the following weekend to decorate our house for Christmas. After several trips to Walmart for more lights and a new Christmas tree stand we are all good to go!

One of Jack's favorite things to do is to go fishing with Grandpa. They went tons of times and caught only 1 fish. He still loved it!

We had a fabulous time in Boulder City for Thanksgiving. We were so glad to be able to visit with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Debbie. We miss them already.
