Cloudy with a chance of TINKLE!

This is Lily on the walk...I didn't strap her in and she wanted to talk to "Abbybutler" (what she calls Abby.
Lily likes to walk up our hill to the house by herself.
I cut her hair again yesterday...it turned out pretty cute.
Surprise! Lily has decided to use the potty most of the time! Yesterday she informed me she wanted to wear panties and had one small accident. Today she kept them dry all day... Still have to work on going number 2 in the potty...but this is PROGRESS!
There's nothing cuter than this picture! What a doll!

We miss the sunshine!

It has been really chilly around here lately. In the 40's with clouds and sporatic rain. We have been keeping warm by the fire and trying not to kill each other as we battle cabin fever. I thought it would be nicer today as the sun was peaking through this morning. By the time we went on our walk at 10:30 it was really gray and cloudy again. We miss the sun!

Saturday, Shmaterday...

Will in the basket...one of his favorite tricks.
She's the winner of the Naughtiest Kid Award today. This is what Darin did for most of the day...when not playing the Wii...

Today was sooooo boring and long... the weather outside stinks. It's rainy and 40 degrees. Jack was recovering from the stomach flu, and Lily was definetly more of a wicked witch than a cinderella today... We didn't do much. The boys played a lot of video and computer games, Lily whined and cried about stuff and Will looked for trouble. I cleaned up after them all. I did get to go on a walk with my friend Keri without any children. This was a nice treat in the midst of the day. This was one of those days when time feels like it stands still....

Our Friday

I found Will in the kitchen coloring? What?!! I think his sister helped out here.
This is the Will I know....yummy crayons!
Jack has the stomach flu with a fever today :( He stayed home from school and vegged on the couch...I know he wasn't foolin' because he actually fell asleep while watching a show.
Lily having some noodles as a snack when Jack finally felt like eating a little something.
I got a new refridgerator...well the old one from our old house...the one I really wanted to move with us two years ago...but was denied... We waited until now to ask for a new bigger one and they decided it was better to move this one than to buy a new one. Go figure? I am really excited. It was hectic moving stuff from one to the other, especially with my helper here, but it was worth it. This new one is bigger by a few inches each way and it is arranged so much smarter.

Oh yea, I was supposed to go to Visalia and stay in a nice room and go out to eat and watch a movie tomorrow, but with Jack sick, we had to cancel and put it off until next weekend. Bummer.

Beach Bag

I ordered this from LL Bean. I LOVE it! It is the extra large size tote with Monogramming! It fits all six of our beach towels with lots of extra room for other things we will need at the pool. It is still manageable for carrying too! It was one of the best buys I have made...ever.

Fishing with Papa Lamb

Bummer!

This is what was happening before....

This is what my camera looks like now that Will threw it down onto the ground at In and Out yesterday... So sad! Luckily my old one still woeks. I will try to send this one into Canon to see if they can repair it.

Happy Birthday!

Open House

Last night was Open House at Jack and Hank's School. They were so excited to show us around the classroom and to show us all the work they have been doing.
This is one of Jack's wonderful art projects.
Jack showing Lily "Sophie" the class guinea pig.
Hank showing me his schoolwork.

Darin and I really enjoyed seeing the boys classroom and their work! We are really proud of them both!

They're here!

I was waiting for my couches and I saw that they had been shipped already so I called the company and asked when they thought they would be delivered. The lady told me 7-14 days and that the trucking company would call to arrange delivery. So today I got a call at about 3:00 from Diana at the General Store telling me the truck with my couches was here. Surprise! I had to scramble to find Darin who found us some help to move out the old couches. I am so excited!
They are so pretty...I love them. They are super slippery so we are kind of getting used to that part.

Show and Tell

Hank was Star of the Week for the last two weeks. During this time he is allowed to bring in show and tell each day. Today he chose to share his baby brother Will. It was so cute!
Here he is taking questions from the crowd. One kid asked, "Where did you get him from?" I was thankful we all just brushed over that question...
Here's the proud big brother!
Hank got to stay for the reading of a few students reports on Spring. It was thrilling.

Tight Spot

It was kind of quiet in the living room so I had to go find out what Will was up to. This is what I found. It's his new thing...squeezing into tight spots.
Here he is looking at me. I took him out right after this picture.
But he went right back behind the couch. This time he made it past the plug in and the lamp plug. I had to move the end table so he couldn't go back there again.
