T-ball - batting practice.

He can't help but close his eyes!
There's a cute one!

First time hitting off a tee!

Such power!

Cheering the boys on!

Lily and Will had to get TB test for school. Lily had to get a few more shots for Kindergarten. As a prize she picked out this cheerleading costume. She wore it to Jack and Hank's baseball game! What a sweet sister!

Faces!

We went to a birthday party for one of Lily's friends from church. Cinderella came to the party and played games with the girls, painted faces and made balloon animals. Our whole family went. They even had things for the big boys to do. It was a great time. Lily got her face painted like a kitty cat!
I just think this face is cute... even with oreos on it!

Biking

Our littlest biker...he takes such a long time to ride!
Super Jack!
It has been several months since I have gotten a picture in which Hank hasn't tried to give "bunny ears" to someone!
Our bike gang. (I walked the dog and took the pics)
Second try and still no Will face :)

Puzzles

In an attempt to watch less tv and play less video games, the boys have been putting together puzzles. It is actually a really fun time to spend working together.

Mandatory Quiet Hour

This is how I found Will during Mandatory Quiet Hour!
I have set up a loose schedule for our summer vacation days so that I don't go too crazy. In the morning for the next two weeks we have swim lessons. Some days we come home and walk the dog. We stay and play at the park sometimes. When we get home we have lunch and then we do school work. I have Summer Bridge workbooks for Lily, Hank and Jack. I am also having Jack and Hank do extra cursive practice. Hank is still catching up on phonics, as he was behind when we moved here, so he is doing his phonics workbook from this past year. Will just plays or watches a show during this time. After school work time, it's Mandatory Quiet Hour. This is a time during the day that each kid lays on his/her own bed (Will on my bed) and looks at books or plays quietly. After quiet hour, the boys can play video games for a little bit and Lily and Will can watch a little tv. We are two days into the summer and so far it has been going pretty well.

Swim Lessons

All four of the kids are taking swim lessons at a local pool. Their lessons are from 9:00 - 9:30 am. Lily and Will are in a class together and Jack and Hank are in a class together. They are all doing awesome and LOVE it!

Cute Father's Day video featuring my kids

Fathers Day from Brandon Setter on Vimeo.

Our friend Brandon works for a church here in Southern California. He made this video for Father's Day using clips we recorded of the kids. It turned out really cute!

Caterpillar to Butterfly!

About two weeks ago Jack found a caterpillar in the street in front of our house. He stuck it in a bug catcher and put some leaves in it. I just figured we would let it go in a day or so if it lived that long. Suprise! It turned into a chrysalis. I thought for sure it wouldn't survive, but I put it in a shady spot in our backyard and crossed my fingers. This morning I checked on it and it was a butterfly. Amazing! It is black with yellow tips and blue spots. We used a flower to take it out of the container and it flew up into our avocado tree!
